there was a lot to choose from. for $10.99 per adult you can't go wrong. the kids even enjoyed the variety of foods available. The fruit isn't that ripe/ fresh, but other then that it was pretty good.

We love the golden griddle, especially on laird drive! They have good food, friendly staff and a great owner. He often comes to the tables and chats, he is soooo friendly.
The weekend buffet is great for families.

OK...we admit it - we love going to Golden Griddle on Weekends for the buffet. It might not be the biggest, best buffet in town, but the location is close, the service is ULTRA friendly - we love James the waiter - he's a dead ringer for Martin Scorsese. Lots of sweet stuff for the kids plus toys and balloons always available. This is the location that THE Ken Thomson would frequent with his family.
On this occasion csilver.n49.ca had the buffet and I ordered the usual bacon and eggs off the menu.

i gotta admit, im not a huge fan of Golden Griddle. I've been a few times for the cheapo buffets and every time the eggs have been watery (read: when the egg bowl nears an end, you can see a fast pool of water at the bottom) and the hash browns overcooked. they do make a mean piece of toast though.

who would go to a restaurant for a piece of toast? Golden Griddle is gross.
