My wife and I went to try this location. We had bad experiences in others, but we were optimistic in visiting this one. I have to say we were disappointed again. The service was slow, even though the place had very few patrons, the kitchen staff took too long to make our order (we waited 20 minutes) and the food tasted like it was sitting out for a week or so (i guess freshness was not part of the deal). I think after this visit we are completely turned off and we'll never attend another Demetre's location again.

We are not content resting on what you experienced on your visit. We believe we can do better for ourselves, our profession, and most importantly our guests. We have the opportunity, the tools, the self-motivation and the dedication to do so. When we fall short, we work even harder

We were a party of 4 adults and 3 kids, one baby (9.30 p.m) The store manager Zora declined us being able to dine in the restaurant as we had a stroller with a sleeping baby. The store manager apparently has instructed them to do so. It was against their store policy and was a fire hazard (we were nohere close to a fire hydrant infacet in a corner and carry a 11lbs esprit stroller), she insisted on us putting our baby in a high chair. She said if we wanted to stay we would have had to take the baby out and park it by the door. We were also told by one of the wait staff John (when we insisted on being served) that if i were an alcoholic it didnt mean that I could bring alcohol in the store just coz I thought I can. No idea how the stroller compared to a sleeping baby in a stroller. Regardless to say we left and contacted the other location at Oakville (since we had younger kids who insisted on having demetre's that night), that store said we were welcome to come in and they would never turn away a stroller. We have never had such bad treatment at any other place.
