is something wrong with the organization.
ones pet can live along time. mine has had many vets over 5-6

The vet that we used to like left and was replaced by someone else that i wasn't to fond of. And their prices seem to be really high.

I took my new little puppy to McLean's and as a new dog owner had a fantastic experience. Our first visit was so comforting to both myself and most importantly my new little friend. The Vet was very helpful and very knowledgeable. From our first steps into the front door we both felt at ease and special. I would like to let everyone know this vet clinic is absolutly wonderful. Thank you to all of the staff for making our 1st experince an unforgetable one. xoxo

Vet's are often caught between a person's love of their animal
and THEIR (the Vet) need to pay bills. A mix of economics and a passion for 'critters". McLeans does it well-better than most.

I love this place. I suppose most vets are the same... they get to know your pet and develop a relationship with it, so sure enough they develop a relationship with a member of your family, because thats what pets are.
McLeans looks after dog. I can call and get an appointment in about 30 seconds flat and they refer to my dog by first name and last name. Love it.

but glad to hear at least some make a connection with the animal. my dog is scared shitless even walking into the doors cuz she knows something unpleasant is coming .. and after that i am scared shitless to look at the bill!!! sigh .. i should have been a vet ;-)

You know Lutz, I actually questioned the vet on the high prices at vet clinics and found out something I dod not know. It actually takes MORE education to become a vet than it does to become a dentist. Almost the same as a medical doctor for humans. When I thought about it, it made sense. I know, "my vet looks after my dog...", but you could take your pig, your cow, your kangaroo, your bearded dragon, your beloved goldfish in there, and the vet knows what to do. But I do think they should charge way less for spaying and neutering. ALl vets should do this at COST. It should be law.
