I can’t believe the reviews those midwives get. Those clients just got lucky. I just received a decision from the College of Midwives and they admitted that one of their midwives misunderstands basic physiology and could and should handle my labour better.
Because of how smart she is we lost a beautiful healthy, full term baby in 2016. I was left with ruptured water for two days and told to wait for the labor to start. Another midwife, her backup, showed up 2 min before our baby was born . Our little girl was completely brain damaged and died in my arms 13 days later at the hospital. Those midwives are a team of reckless, poorly educated women who cover each other’s lies.

My partner & I had extraordinarily good care during my pregnancy & post-partum. The knowledge & expertise were top notch; they give you so much support & tlc, it was really an incredible experience & I hope to do it again with number two. We were lucky enough to have a home birth & it was the most amazing experience. I can't imagine doing the OB/GYN route - I think you'd miss out on so much - friendship, information, feelings of community and being a part of an ancient tradition of women helping women. I really cannot say enough positive things about our experience. KMW are spectacular.
