Good food, but came out cold. Service was very slow. Also, bring a sweater... Room was very cold.

I got together with a group of friends Saturday night to go to Maro, we got there early enough at 10pm to only have to wait a short time to get in. The door man was a little snobby so it did not leave a great first impression with me. Except for that one incident I did like the club. It has an upscale ware-house type of atmosphere. We did fill up on drinks a few different times, the bar staff was really quick, I don't think we waited more than 3 minutes at the bar for a drink each time. Because the bar is located in King West there is lots of free parking on the side streets which was a plus. I would probably go back again and next time go early enough to actually go for dinner.

sounds like you had pretty good time over there, above average service except the bouncer, but lets face the facts, they are like that everywhere ... (its just their compansation really, i woudn't take it personal, they all have issues lol) .. anyways .. you should give them at least 3 or 4 stars maybe? considering 2 stars is below average :-) .. i heard lots of good things about this place too .. cheers!
