Great stock & great prices. Badly run. Terrible place to work. A demoted manager sabotages production by not getting his work done and blaming hard-working co-workers when they are not there. The store continues to employ him, and demotes or dismisses his victims.

My friend Mel is always talking about K-W Surplus and how she buys everything there. So one day driving down Victoria street in Kitchener, I decided to try to find the store.

The first thing you notice is the Spitfire plane on the roof, making it impossible to find. The second thing is the Tank outside! A real tank! The third is there is never any parking since it is always so busy!

I spent over 2 hours in this store buying up everything from hair dye, to telephones. I got a dog bed for my dogs for 4.99, a new telephone for 6.99, batteries for .97 cents, a tape gun, tape etc etc.

I mean I could have spent my whole paycheck in this store. The prices were outstanding.

I made the mistake of showing it to my husband and now we go there every day (it seems) for everything we need. Need something for the satlight? Let's go to KW. Need something to fix the clothes line? Let's go to KW. It's never ending.

I feel like I've been ripped off my whole life not have known about this place and been able to shop here. I will never buy full price again!

So if they don't have it, then nobody will. Great store, great deals, fast check outs, and good service. There is even a person selling hamburgers, hotdogs, and sausages from a cart outside the store.
