i tried it twice now, and i'm not impressed.
the concept is cool, however, the flavor is not what i've expected although i gave it a second chance, but the way the shop looks and amount of traffic in there, you'll simply expect much more.
i've tried much better ice cream at regular chain stores, and definitely not worth the money i paid for my icecream ($10 first time, $14 second time) that could've been my downpayment for my own icecream shop!
anyways, i wouldn't visit again, thank you.

We ordered an ice cream cake this summer - I believe the flavour was key lime pie and tried their signature ice cream flavour. It did not taste how I think real ice cream should taste. The cream flavour was overpowering and much too sweet. For the price, high quality artisanal ice cream is so much better! This place is all about the "gimmick" of add-ons, not the quality.

I recently visited Marble Slab, and was very disappointed. The ice cream was ok, comparable to any other local ice cream shop, but the difference is the mix-ins - normally, you order Rocky Road ice cream (or whatever your flavor of choice might be) and that's what you get. Well, here, you must order chocolate ice cream, and pay for every "mix-in", so extra for your marshmallows, extra for the chocolate chips, etc... The bowl ends up costing a lot more than expected! Even more if you want a cone! Save your money and support your local ice cream shops instead.

My favorite ice cream place ever! I tried it for the first time in Edmonton Alberta while visiting my dad. I told all my friends about it back in Ontario. Not even a month later I found out they had opened one in the city I was living (London, Ontario). THe line is always out the door - sure enough they have opened another one. I also passed on the message to my friends in my hometown (Oakville, Ontario) and now there is one opened there too. I couldnt be happier!!
Amazing concept! Sooo many flavors, so fresh! and the mixins. mmmmmmmmmm the options are limitless. In one of the London location they had a picture of two guys that had an ice cream with every single mixin in it. One day I'll try that! Till than I say spread the word. Marble Slab is amazing!!

We went to the newly opened Marble Slab in Thornhill. The concept is great - pick a flavour and pick the toppings and they mix it all together to great a unique flavour of your own making. Mixing is expertly performed on an ice cold marble slab (actually granite). It was awesome!
They told us that they are opening stores all around the GTA, including Woodbridge (already open), Oakville and Newmarket. Judging by the huge line up that was literally out the door, they should be very successful.
