I have purchased various acoustic and electric guitars, and many accessories at Option Plus Musique Inc, over the last 15 years or more. I have always had very good service with close attention to detail. They have customized a couple of my electrics with glowing results.
This should be your "go-to" guitar shop - especially if you are tired of getting the run around at the big box stores.
Andre and Lee will treat you well.

For the Quick readers out there who want a simple Yay or Nay for this Shop it's a Emphatic Yes! Go and see them it'll be the best thing you've ever done.
For the more detailed version.
I've been going to this shop for about 3 years and i have to say I've loved every second of it. I play bass and guitar and I've needed quite a few set ups and fine tuning over the years and the staff have always been helpful and understanding. It's also the only shop i know of that still has that mom and pop feel to it. Where you can get to know the owner and vice versa. Where you can sit and talk tech together in a relaxed environment.
They also have one of the best used sections I've seen. They buy outright, none of this consignment junk. Straight cash for your git and they always have something interesting on the wall.
The thing i like most is the location, i live on the west island making it just one bus ride. Not at all a hassle, and i always know who's working on my guitars, since they do all the repairs on site. You always know where your guitars are and who touches them. They even handle amp repair, i don't think there's anything these guys can't fix.
Anyway 5 stars, will never go to any other guitar shop. Check them out! And keep on picking!!

I've dealt with Option Plus Musique off and on over the last few years, and their service is probably the best I've ever seen. I used to deal with Kevin for bass setups, but as he is not with them anymore, Andre and the remaining staff are terrific to deal with. Andre just did some work on one of my basses, and it's like new again. He is also a very experienced guy who is very interesting to talk to. They are now in the process of moving back to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, but they'll continue to be my go-to guys.

First of all, I would like to say that I bought ten guitars from OPTION PLUS MUSIQUE INC. And as you can imagine, I've never looked back... Hey, when you find top of the line quality & service, you just go for it (if you know what I mean!!!). Needless to say that, Andre & Kevin have always given me the perfect info for what I was looking for. Thank God there is a place,that will actually take care of your needs, in a very professional way, & that place is OPTION PLUS MUSIQUE INC. I have 25 years experience in the music field, & let me tell you, I make a duty to make sure that when I play their guitars in public places, the people know, that the guitars I am playing are not only from OPTION PLUS MUSIQUE INC., but also, very well adapted guitars for my needs... Andre & Kevin are professional luthers, who will take care of your needs, even, long after you bought something, from them. Indeed Andre's store is very small, but that gives a lot of room for "Top of the line" service on great knowledge, service & wisdom, & all at an affordable price... Long live the companies (that are small) but take care with pride for their quality & service.
All & all, long live OPTION PLUS MUSIQUE INC. & top of the line to you, guys!!!
