Dr. Serge Gotovac came so highly recommended by a friend, it was hard to believe. Each and every review echoed the same high praises . During the first visit, we understood why people value Dr Gotovac so highly.
After bringing our first cat to Rouge Valley Veterinary Hospital, all
our others followed. Dr. Gotovac was wonderful with our cats and took care of all their problems.
I am speaking with the experience of 30 years of cat ownership,
Dr Gotovac and his staff's focus is doing the best for your pet. He is extremely compassionate, dedicated , caring and down to earth. He is conscious that people have budgets, respects that and clearly explains the options for the care of your pet. He also has excellent hours, even open Sunday.
We found the same level of dedication with his staff. Julie, Amber & Jill all provided professional, wonderful care. They, along with Dr. Gotovac , made my cats, my husband and myself feel very welcome and respected . In this day and age I find those qualities hard to find.
Dr. Gotovacs and his staff's focus truly is providing the best quality of care.
We were so fortunate to find this truly one- of- a- kind outstanding vet. My only regret is not finding Dr. Gotovac sooner !

I have an elderly Yorkie who had an abscessed tooth and what looked to be an eye infection in one of his eyes. After nearly two moths of another vet treating him none of his problems had cleared up.
I also have a Bichon who had an allergic reaction at the base of his tail and after months of another vet treating him with sprays and pills nothing was better.
After a single visit with Dr. Serge, he determined that my Yorkie's "eye infection" was due to extremely dry eyes so we were given an ointment for his eyes and antibiotics for his tooth. The very next day he was eating better than he had in months and his eye had started to clear up dramatically.
My Bichon had the base of his tail shaved and was given hydro cortisone ointment and in less than a week his reaction was completely cleared up.
Dr. Serge is amazing! My dad took my Yorkie for a check up while he was still on antibiotics for his tooth, I had to work, and Dr. Serge took the time out to call me while my dad was there to explain the new dosages to me since I am the one who gives my dogs their medication.
The staff are also great! After taking my Yorkie in for the first time, Amber called the very next day to see how he was doing. They're also always very happy to see you when you come in for your appointment.
I've been to many vets while looking for just the right one and have found that many of them only care about how much you are willing to spend on your dog. Dr. Serge and his staff genuinely care about helping your pets. They have always been upfront and honest about the treatment and medications my dogs need and prices are also the most reasonable that I've found.

I take all my dogs to see Dr Serge and he is really wonderful with them. The rest of the staff at the hospital are also excellent, very friendly, and make you feel like your animal is the one and only! I highly recommend this vet to anyone who appreciates good service and a caring environment for animals.

We are new clients of Dr. Serge. He has been treating our cat, Cookie Monster for a few months now. We are thrilled that we found him. Every experence we have had there has been positive, even for the cat, and through a difficult treatment process. I have tried several vets all over Scarborough and Markham. Dr.Serge and his team are the best. He understands budgets, realistic treatments, and doesn't suggest complicated costly measures if there is an easier, less invasive alternative. He and his team are genuine animal lovers. Very personable & warm.

My pug Samson had an attack of Pancreatitis over Thanksgiving long weekend,the Dr did the blood tests and called me when the Hospital was closed to give me my results.
I bought dog shampoo for his skin problems for $18 and I had previously paid $30 for this same shampoo elsewhere.
Clinic visits are reasonably priced, and the vet doesn't judge you for not having an unlimited budget for your pet.
His excellent service has won us over for life.

I have been taking my two Goldens and senior cat to see Serge, Amber and Gordon for a year now. My elderly cat Nikki stopped eating and dropped to about 6 pounds shortly after coming home from the Humane Society. While he could have convinced me to spend a great deal of money on her, Serge did some basic testing, determined that all was well and that she had likely stopped eating because of stress. So off I went with a syringe and wet food and coaxed her to eat and after a few weeks, she slowly began eating. She is now on a weight loss diet!
My girls, Silken and Nordy, have told me that they like Serge too! They always seem happy to see him!
And, I cannot say enough about Amber, his assistant and Gordon. Besides the obvious skills with the animals, they are all so helpful and friendly and clearly love the animals!
Thank you for all you do for my 4 legged family!

This clinic staff and Serge (vet) are just amazing. He truly loves these animals and treats them as if they were his own. He would rather work for free than see an animal in pain because of a money issue. An unusual find in this field. I recommend you taking your animals to him and driving the extra mile if need be. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Gotovac is just the most real indivdual you can find to look after your pet's well being and also yours...almost all Vets will tell you to do this this this which is in most cases valid but some arent and are only for the $$...anyway to keep it simple if want the best care for your pet's i would definetly suggest seeing him,

We have always had pets and were referred here after asking around for better care for our pets. I have never experienced a vet who has taken better interest or care in my pets needs then Dr Gotovac. Dr Gotovac is truly unlike any other, he even came to our home in our hour of need. Everyone at the clinic obviously loves what they do and it shows from the moment you walk in the door.
