Drawing on "INSPIRATION" for it's theme, IDS 2009 will host over 300 exhibitors, talks and exhibits by established international design stars and the latest in emerging talent. Celebrating 11 years, IDS will host a highly anticipated OPENING NIGHT GALA, designer CONCEPT SPACES from five innovative teams, and a PROTOTYPE exhibit that champions rising Canadian Talent. Don't miss the boundry pushing COLLABORATIONS exhibit, INTERNATIONAL PAVILIONS with never before seen product from France and Finland, and CRYSTAL CLEAR a new feature exhibit using Swarovski Crystals. The popular AZURE TRADE TALKS series features french furniture designer Christophe Delcourt, Dutch architect Ben Van Berkel of UN studio and Belgium's Studio Job.
