Our travel plans for celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary fell through at the last moment. Consequently we made a last minute reservation at the InterContinental Hotel on Front Street,Toronto and selected their weekend "Romantic Escape Package". The hotel staff member who took our telephone booking ( Miriam )was extremely helpful and accommodating and pulled out all the stops to ensure that we had a memorable weekend.
Foor example,when we arrived at the Check In counter, we were greeted with "Happy Anniversary" wishes as soon as we identified ourselves.
It wasn't just the Romance baskets we received or the champagne and anniversary card delivered gratuitously to our room,or the clean, comfortable, spacious room that made our stay extra special.
It was the InterContinental staff.
They were pleasant, courteous and determined to "wow" you with excellent customer service. This was so evident in the staff who delivered items and meals to our room; the Dining Room (Azure)staff who greeted us by name; the Valet Parking staff ( Mike). Collectively, they contributed to creating a memorable weekend for myself and my husband.
Our special thanks to Miriam for making the Romantic Escape weekend really happen.

I went to the Intercontinental hotel with lutz.n49.ca last Friday and I have to say they have great customer service. We ordered room service and it came sooo quick. First we ordered some coffee's, they said that it would be about a half an hour.. it was delivered in 5 min! Our dinner was also delivered with in 20 min! We were so impressed!
They have a lovely spa with pool and hottub.. we had a great time!
Sorry I didn't take my camera to the pool but I had a coffee in my hand ;)
