M-U Hardwood flooring in Richmond Hill provided a hardwood flooring service to our home in August 2010. They helped us to select the Brazilian Cherry from Appalachian hardwood based on its durability and hardness.

The installers were not experienced and had lost a lot of woods in process. They have installed many pieces with cracks which they had to remove afterwards. As a result they have left areas with Buckles since the tongues were removed from the edges.

After the installation was completed we called the owner (Victor) for repairs. He never called back even after leaving many messages. I had to go to his office and meet with him to come and see the work for himself. After two weeks he sent one of the installer to come and repair some of the areas. The installer told us that if he removes the cracked pieces we will end up with buckles and he said that we have to pay to repair.

Overall they did not do what they promised (they promised a professional job with one year of warranty on the labour and repairs) and left a messy job.

As well the quality of the wood was not what they described. It dents easy.

I would not recommend this company at all.
