My partner and I purchased a living room set here, which we loved, and had delivered when we moved into our new place. Not problems with the sale, financing or delivery. Then we went back for some bedroom furniture - headboard, mirror and dresser. When we started talking with the sales rep she was saying that the "Preferred Client Card" that we had from them (which came earlier in the month) was no longer accepted because they switch financing companies.

The issue here was that we were going to finance it for 6 months no interest (cause we still had lots of room on the account to add the new stuff). She said they would just do a new credit check and open another account with new financing company. Problem with this is the fact that we already have a large amount of credit under Leon's, so after waiting they told us the check was declined (surprise, surprise), but that we could use the old account since we had space on it!!!!!

WAIT?!?! That is the option we asked for in the first place. When it comes to closing the sale they will use the old accounts, but not at the request of the customer. At the end of the day we got what we wanted but had to be annoyed getting it... not to mention every time a credit check is done it takes away a credit point... pointless waste of credit.
