We have been to Nonnas about 200 times since they opened. We feel like family there now. We have tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. My Favorit is the Chicken zocambuto (or something like that) The chicken is baked with Prosciutto on top and is scrumptious.
Frank and Vince are good partners. Franks wife Mena works there part time and his daughter Cassandra makes a killer caesar salad. Must have some of their Donini red merlot with every meal.

Four of us went for dinner on a Tuesday night. The service was awful. We were sitting near a wall that they use for info that looked like it had not been cleaned for years. It took 1 and 1/2 hrs to get our order. 2 personal pizzas, one veal parmiggiana that had no mozzarella only sauce an a sprikle of parmiggiano grated cheese, and pasta with one meeatball (they charge for each one). There was no offering of bread or water. I was caughfing and asked the waitress for a glass of water. She never came back. This experience had a lot lacking and ever if we did not have to pay to go back we would not. These are 4 people they will not see again.

This a great new find in Markham!
Last night my boyfriend and I stopped in here for dinner after shopping at The Garden Basket and we where not disappointed. The service was great from the get go - fast and friendly. The food was great too. The portions are big. We shared the Calabria pizza, rigatoni and a caprese salad. Pizza was by far the best but everything else was good too. If you've ever been to the Ice Cream Patio in Woodbridge you'll like Nonna's. It's a more relaxed, not as classy version of the Ice Cream Patio.
My only complaint is that it was a little pricey...but what can ya do.
