I am an avid reader of many different genre and author and have found that Rivendell Books is one of the better places to find some of the rare and/or harder to find titles that I seek.

I find that the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The prices, quantity, and quality of their books is A+.

I now shop at Rivendell exclusively for my used book needs.

Rivendell is exactly what I'm looking for in a used bookstore. A great place to browse, extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff and great prices. Wow, what a fantastic sci-fi/fantasy section! I found lots of Conan, Dr. Who, Doc Savage, Edgar Rice Burroughs, the Gor series and on and on, too numerous to mention and all in good shape. I also found it very helpful that the staff can order any book I'm looking for. A new favourite shop!

Rivendell books is exactly what you are looking for in a used bookstore. Extremely organized but also full of character. A vast number of categories for book lovers of all ages. Lots of room to browse and an atmosphere that encourages it. I love the comfy chairs! An interesting collection of rare and signed books. The service was fantastic and I was impressed by the owner's ability to find exactly what I was looking for. For books that they don't have, they can order them in for you. A new favourite store on my list!

My visit to Rivendell Books was fantastic! It has a great atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. I especially liked the author signatures and photos on the wall - I could spend hours browsing here! The selection of books is great and really well organized. The prices of the books were very reasonable and there is even a bargain bin! I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be a regular customer!

Wow! This was certainly not what I was expecting when I went to this store.
It was easy access, with lots of parking. When we walked inside, it was like walking into a new book store. Clean, orderly, with a fabulous selection of books, including some antique gems! And prices were exactly what we were looking for with this recession
The whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner was a wealth of information!
Can't go wrong here!

The ambience is inviting and the selection of books include something for everyone, from adventure to romance, the classics to everyday "how-to", Rivendell makes the world of literature affordable and enchanting. Its accessable location in the Wellington Plaza, with its abundant parking enhances the experience.
