Having heard many good things about this restaurat,I, along with my girlfriend, made plans to have dinner on Friday evening. I called ahead into RESERVATIONS and thy told me that they ONLY take reservations for groups of 6 or more..... I've never heard of that before, but obviously, this is a way to maximise revenue. They told me that I should arrive between 8 - 8:30 to get a seat. We arrived @ 8:15 and were told that there is a bit of a wait but we could have a drink at the bar. Well, we ventured to the bar and watched as groups, as well as coupes were placed before us. When I went back to the HOSTESS to get an idea as to when we might be seated, she told me to 'Move from the entrance, Im blocking customers' .... I went and inquired for a second time at 42min of waiting, and was told that there are people ahead of us stil. The point is, I don't mind waiting for a table, however, there was no type of empathy from the Hostess, she nevermade an attempt to inform us as to a table even though she had my cell # ( requested at the entrance ). After 80min of waiting, my girlfrind and I were keeping a watchfull eye on patrons coming in after us and we saw a couple that were seated before us. When I asked the HOSTESS, she simply told me that they were on the reservation????? This was the point that we chose to voice our opinions and then leave. I've been to mamny restaurants in the past and never, have I, nor my girlfrined been treated like that before. Customer service is key in retaining clients and ensuring through word of mouth that people come back to your establishment. Please change the HOSTESS (Sep 30) and employ adult professionals whom have the inate people skills to deal with sitaution like this. Overall, very dissapointing..

Went there with 15 people on a saturday night and can say one thing not impressed at all. Cost for dinner for two $110 including a 18% tip included in the bill. waiters and servers were polite but not the greatest atmosphere was presented. The music was way to loud to have any sort of conversation other than with the person beside you. Food was decent but no knowledge of the food was given by the waiters. The entertainment was about 5 mins in total. All I can say is that I went to the washroom and by the time I came out the entertainment was already finished for the night. All the dishes came by only once and thats if I was lucky enough to have them serve on our side of the table. if they served on the other side of the table very little chance of you getting that dish.

Used to Brazilian friendliness, not even once I saw a smile on the face of either the hostess or the servers (not to mention none of them were well informed about Brazilian food). They served us fast for about 10 minutes, but then, they took our glasses for a soda refill and brought them back only 30 minutes after, when we actually had to go to the counter to ask for water and the sodas. Also, for 30 minutes, servers passed us by, serving the new tables, completely ignoring us (a technique for people to leave soon?). The place was not too busy, so the lousy service cannot be blamed on that.
And although it was a Tuesday, they charged us the weekend buffet. Honest mistake? I don't think so.

I am Brazilian but I live in Montreal. Visiting Toronto our family wanted to try the "Copacabana - Steak House" (Rodizio - as we call in Brazil). We had the most wonderful surprise; everything was just perfect as in the best Brazilian's Rodizios Restaurants we know! It was the first "RODIZIO" outside the Brazilian territory which we have really enjoyed completely. Believe-me. From now on, once in Toronto I know we will definitely repeat the experience.

My son took me out for my birthday.
I must say I love the ambience of the place.
The music was not loud just right, salad bar great the
only thing is the main course such as rice & pasta should have been together you can easily miss it.
The meat was great,it just kept on comming.
The service was excellence, it's a bit pricey but you get it
your money's worth.

Our party of 3 arrived at 9pm on Sunday night and we were the last ones to leave the restaurant.Everything was phenomenal. The meat choices were superb and the staff was friendly and well trained. The steaks, ribs, chicken, and lamb were cooked to perfection. Amazing salad bar and atmosphere. Will go back very soon.
Complaints? Hmmm.
$3 for a Coke with no free refills.
Salad bar has no labels so you must guess as to what you are eating...

I took a party of 15 and we were treated like kings. Everything top to bottom was great. I would recommend this place to any meat lovers.

We were extremely disappointed with the food quality and service. We felt extremely rushed and the food was brought to the table with only 3-4 servings of meat on the skewer, when we were 10 people at our table. We were told they would return, but didn't. Totally different from the Niagara Falls location. That location was awesome. The Toronto location paled in comparison. Would not return there again. The tip was automatically added, even though I don't feel that the tip was warranted. Very upset and very dissatisfied with service and food quality.

The buffet was excellent. Choice of unique salads. I only wish that the items were labelled so I knew what I was eating. The meat was also excellent. The entertainment was good. There was constant music and the dance routine was short enough to not interrupt the meal. The grilled pineapple was very also excellent. We really enjoyed our meal until one of the meat servers made some rude comments to my friend while serving her. We called the manager over. He did not ask for any details, it seems like he was too busy to care, and he offered no apology. I feel like the situation was unresolved and the server really put a damper on our dinner. We paid too much to be served by someone who seems to dislike their job and have no filters. The servers do not wear name tags but we found out later his name is 'Will'. We will not return.

We stuffed ourselves with too much meat last night at the new Copacabana on Eglinton. This is the second location for the Brazilian style restaurant, the first being in Niagara Falls.
I must say that we all thought it was most delicious! The meat was all very tasty and the skewers just kept coming and coming. We stuffed our faces and our stomachs to the max. It's so good that it's hard to stop! The buffet was also good, only complaint was that there could have been a bit more to the salads.
A fun and filling experience. Not that cheap - but worth it. You must try it.
