We have been at this school for a number of years and have two kids enrolled. While there is room for some improvement in the administration, I have seen this improve tremendously over the past few years. The Principal is cares for the well-being of the children and is always available for an impromptu meeting if you need to.

The kids are taught an advanced curriculum and we have noticed that our kids are well ahead of their peers at the same grade level and age that are attending other public or private schools.

We are happy with this school and love the small school/community feel.

The school seems okay at first, but the longer you are at the school-the more you see the problems. The school has no interest in parent concerns or the lack of physical activity. The upper school children don't leave their room all day during a snow day as there is no where to go. There is a revolving door with teachers and there are no supply teachers if the teachers are absent (which they are often). The school has music class and gym class taught in ENGLISH. There is no proper art class as it is taught by the homeroom teacher which depending on the grade can be a non-French speaking teacher. The children at this school do not get proper French or English education. The administration is horrible. The headmaster is at the school 10% of the year at best. He vacations in Vietnam with his wife during the winters. The principal has no idea how to run a school as she was thrown into that position due to lack of personnel. The head of the board took his 3 children out of the school and had them go to BVG. If the there were major changes in the structure of the day, good administration, French speaking teachers for the entire school this may be a good school. Right now, it is just a poor excuse for a school..

The Giles creates an amazing french foundation for the young kids. You will not be unhappy up until grade 3, then it gets a little iffy. Very strong academically but lacks a little in physical education.

This school was not what it portrays to be. Once you send your child to private you have no recourse on much that happens as they are not overseen by any board. when I had my 1st child I was all about private education, thinking it was a superior edge to their education. I now realized how wrong I was and how the marketing got to me.
Do not be fooled. it is just a business that does not deliver for the cost not only in dollars but your child's experience.
