Its hard to find authentic Japanese food here in Ottawa, but Totoya is a gem of its own. Great Japanese food, friendly customer service, nice cozy place. I hope they stay in the city for a long time.

One of the best sushi places in town.
Authentic Japanese food by authentic Japanese staff. Very friendly service, fresh and delicious food. One of my favorites.
Do not be put off by the empty tables in the restaurant. It is not flocked by diners who are impressed by flash. Just walk in, sit down and enjoy a fine experience. I have been going there regularly and am rarely disappointed.
