I went to dogz life twice and the first time I should have known better. when i asked for a short trim b/c of the summer heat, what she did was shave her down so much and her whiskers that she no longer looked liked a maltiese but a poodle. Then she had long ears and a fluffy tail. On the second try, i mentioned the tail was a bit matted but all else wasnt too bad as we do regular combing. When I picked her up I was shocked or horrified! She has cut off her entire tail hair and her long beautiful ears and hadnt even called to ask or tell me she was going to do that. All she said was it was too matted and it would have taken her longer to comb out! Well then take longer time or charge me more but dont cut off a maltiese's pretty ears! Horrible lady and horrible cut! Go somewhere else and pay the extra to someone who knows the different dog cuts and who isnt lazy.

Owner was advised that the matts would be shaven out due to the severity of the matting. The matting under the dogs ears had collected hair from the cheeks, and after the matts were shaven out from the face there was little else that could be done but to start fresh. Brushing out matting is a long and uncomfortable process which I feel is unfair to dogs, so in the dogs best interest, the matts were shaven out.

What a lie. The conversation was the tail is a bit matted can you do something with it. IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS WAS THE OK GIVEN TO YOU THE GROOMER TO SHAVE OFF THE ENTIRE TAIL HAIR AND MAKE HER LOOK LIKE A PIG AND CUT OFF ALL HER FLOPPY EARS B/C YOU SAID IT WOULD TAKE YOU SO LONG TO DO. I have talked to 4 other groomers in the city and all said they would have called me first to go over the plan and ask me first if it would be ok to shave the hair off. I was shocked, shocked you wouldnt take the time to do that nor make her look like a maltese instead she looked like a terrior with shaved ears and a pigs tail. Shame on you. Learn to talk to people and learn how to groom. That was so disgusting and hurtful to me the owner.

her hair was not matted in the ears as you have said it was. YOu were just lazy to brush it out. I comb her everyday and find she has never been that bad. So dont blame me or state how bad it was when you have the responsibility to do a proper job and like I said before call first before you act. And if not certain, call again and verify. that is a good sign of a groomer. I am still so angry so very angry at you for what you did to my dog. I have brought her to many groomers and they all said the same thing that you were in the wrong. So learn from this.

Affordable and adorable!
I was extreamly happy with my dogs grooming. She was even able to trim his nails! (usualy groomers just give up)
I completely recomend taking your dog there!

My dog is very nervous around groomers, Ezra allowed me to stay in the room while she groomed and was very patient and gentle with Jaxon my shih tzu. She did a great job!
