I placed an order online for my mother who was turning 90 yrs old, a deluxe basket of planted flowers for $115.00 + $17,95 for delivery, to be delivered Dec 1st. I received a call from my daughter on December 2nd saying grandma had been contacted by a lady who had received her deluxe basket in error. My 90 year old mother initially thought it was a scam call until the lady who had received the flowers in error called a second time and provided further details from the attached card. The address i had provided HDK Floral had been changed at their end from Lacombe Drive, St. Albert to Lacombe Point, St. Albert. And so my daughter made arrangements to pickup the basket from this lady and deliver to her grandma for me as i live in Ontario. When my daughter picked up the arrangement on December 2nd, she said the plants were drooping from lack of being watered, but that the arrangement itself was beautiful. I called HDK Floral on December 5th, to let them know what had happened and asked if they would be willing to compensate for one, the lady who took the time to call my mom to make sure she rec’d the arrangement, but also two, for the inconvenience of my daughter having to pu the basket and the shape of the planted flowers from sitting for a 24hrs without water. A HDK Floral employee relayed to me, the owner - Heather’s response that “they didn’t do that sort of thing”. HDK Floral’s SATISFACTION GUARANTEE online reads,
“If you can find a lower price on the same floral or gift we will beat it. As professional florists, we guarantee your satisfaction with every order delivery in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and St Albert. If you are not satisfied with your product or service we will send a replacement or honor a full or partial refund within 10 days of purchase.”
Although i believe HDK provides high quality product, their failure to honour their “Satisfaction Guarantee” for an error they made in changing the delivery address, but as well their failure to recognize the inconveniences they caused other people, is extremely disappointing. Unfortunately I will not be choosing HDK FLoral in the future for these reasons.

I order from this shop all the time and love the arrangements sent to my Mom. Mom always sends me a picture of the flowers and they are always beautiful. I would recommend this shop for anyone in Edmonton.

I sent my parents a Christmas Centerpiece. I paid for their "premium" arrangement. The only good thing is that the arrangement was delivered on time. The arrangement was not worth the $124.89 I paid (including $5.95 GST and a $12.95 delivery charge). After a 26 hrs the small black roses in the arrangement began to turn black (not for lack of water either). The arrangement was MUCH smaller than an arrangement of $105.99 (before tax & delivery charges), should be. The quality and size of the arrangement left a lot to be desired.
VERY disappointed. I shall not use Canada Floral Delivery .com again!
