Our aim is to nurture the development of your child without compromising his or her uniqueness and individuality. <p> The Montessori philosophy will assist your child in achieving a high level of understanding in all aspects of life. Each child is given the opportunity of enjoying the art of learning within the realm of the child's individuality and ability. <p> We follow a set of rules accompanied by the necessary materials required for our programmes , while stressing the importance of adapting the environment based on each child in accordance with the Montessori philosophy. <p> Our Programme includes the following Montessori philosophies where each child is introduced to the English language along with phonetic sounds, reading and writing with the aid of sandpaper letters. <p> The concept of counting quantities from 1 to 10 is introduced to each child, using sand paper numbers and beads that will assists the child in mastering the counting system. Once the child has understood the concept of counting this ultimately enables each child to add, subtract, divide and multiply with the assistance of the Montessori materials. <p> The day to day activities such as carrying, sweeping, polishing, dusting, buttoning, and lacing are introduced to the child. The Best Montessori Ever‎‎ I have toured many Montessori centres in Markham and Ivy League Montessori was the most welcoming and educational by far! My 3 year old daughter is attending this school and we are amazed at the quaity of education she has received! The staff are very warm, welcoming and patient. They have many educational activities and extra curricular activities that enhance the education. They bake cookies, muffins and have hands on experience with materials that make them feel like "Mummy & Daddy" working around the house! You will not find a Montessori better than this one! Ivy League Montessori is the best!!!!!!!‎
