This is just a note to thank you, for all the help extended by you & State Farm to me during the time of my great loss. The sudden death of my husband Michael on the 19th of February 2001, left me in a state of total shock & despair. I also realized that I was now completely alone, with no one to turn to. The grief of losing Michael, was compounded with panic, as to how I was going to finance the immediate funeral expenses, as well as the future mortgage payments on our house. It is at this time State Farm stepped in. The Term insurance policy taken out by Michael, not only helped to pay for the funeral expenses, but also helped pay off the mortgage. Today, thanks to you & State Farm, my son & I at least have a roof over our heads, & are able to pick up the pieces of our life & carry on. The greatest love letter a husband can write to his wife, is a life insurance policy. I also wish to say a very special thank you, to you Andrew, for the way in which you helped to process the claim so swiftly. You went above & beyond the call of duty, chasing behind the doctors’ & coroners’ to get the documentation needed to expedite the processing of the claim. At a time when everything seemed bleak & dreary, you were a true friend, who stood by me & my son to help make our life a little less miserable. I really appreciate the time that you even spent at our kitchen table, just being there, listening to me cry, without trying to advice me. It is only when you lose someone you love, that you realize who your true friends are & you have proved to be one of them.
