I ordered a flower arrangement for a funeral and was shocked and embarrassed to see what was delivered to the funeral home was not what I asked for.I paid almost just under $100.00. I asked for "lots of greenery, received none. For the price I paid I expected more than a bunch of flowers in a small vase, something I could buy at the local corner store on Roncesvalles for $20.00. Sorry, but these flowers were for my best friend's mother. I was left 2 leaf bags on my porch (with their logo on it) for my complaint.

Hi Sue, I am sincerely sorry you did not like the sympathy piece that was done for you. I have found your order, and unfortunately there was no notes regarding a request for lots of greens, only that you didn't want tropical leaves. If you had called and spoken to one of the florists, I was not made aware of it. I would have appreciated knowing your specific concerns and how best we could address them. The yardwaste bags were a promotion we did in the neighbourhood, with a very positive response. Our feeling was that we were providing something more useful that a flyer that would have just been thrown away. We have listened to the feedback from our customers and now ask if they are looking for something more traditional in style, versus a more contemporary design when it comes to sympathy pieces. I think if you were to come back to the shop, you would find that Kristi, our florist in charge of sympathy pieces (who was hired after your order), is very talented and would be able to make something more in keeping with your expectations. As Sweetpea's grows, we are very receptive to our customers concerns and learn from the feedback we receive.

What a sweet little flower shop in Roncesvalles. Bought a beautiful flower arrangement for a friend. They were getting ready for a wedding. Beautiful bridal bouquet made of dhalias and calla lilies. What a lucky bride!
