I was very excited to goto Jive Nation Toronto, my partner and I had purchased a package of several classes and there was no mention of everyone having to dance with everyone else.
I suffer from a moderately serious OCD and am simply unable to enjoy myself touching the hands of many strangers. The dance class offers no sanitizers and the bathrooms are a total disgrace.
The owner made a point on our 2nd night of classes to let us know in front of everyone that we all must switch partners, I guess she wasnt happy after my partner and I choosing to just dance with ourselves as originally planned.
After she made the announcement, we quietly followed her outside and told her about my illness at which point she scoffed and said that we had to do it and refused to give us a refund otherwise. She said that my illness wasnt her responsibility. How can it be so important to have every couple dance with everyone else? This makes no sense. If I was in a wheelchair would she say I couldnt come because Im not technically dancing??
Avoid this lady and her business. She is rude and doesnt deserve the money.
