We visited the Rum Runner on what we presume was a slow night (there was a blizzard) so it is hard to say how much our experience varied from an average night.

The interior was relatively nice for a pub, though it was underground so there were no windows. The staff was friendly but the service was nothing exceptional.

As for the food, it seemed like their standard pub food and appetizers were pretty good. The perogi entree was also quite tasty. However, I would advise against ordering any of the more 'fine dining' options on the menu as they are generally mediocre and not worth the price. It is probably also worth passing on their caesar salads, as we ordered two and one was served drowning in dressing while the other was nearly bone dry.

Overall the Rum Runner seems like a nice place to go for drinks and a bite with friends, but definitely not for a sit down dinner.
