Spent today 25th Aug 2011 riding at Golden Ears Provincial Park with Zsa Zsa and her beautiful horses. We are Australians living in Vancouver and let me tell you it was the best day of my 11 year olds life.Took one of her friends along for the journey and the horses were a delight. Zsa Zsa just loves everyone of those horses to bits and they certainly seem to love her back.It was a sad day for Zsa Zsa as one of her horses died suddenly this morning of bloat.The other horses on our trip sensed this and seemed somewhat forlorn but still gave us the ride of our lives.Such gentle creatures they took us carefully up and down hills and seemed to love every bit of being ridden. The Golden Ears Park was a gorgeous ride and we were kept cool under the canopy of the forest despite the biting sun out in the open. Thank you Zsa Zsa we will be back to do the Buntzen Lake trails. This was one of the best horseback rides I've been on. The ride was beautiful and scenic. The horses were great, well behaved, easy to handle yet energetic. Not like some of "dead" horses I've ridden at some operations in the past. The guide was wonderful and obviously loves and cares for the horses. It was a little pricier than some of the other outfitters but well worth it. It was a pleasure to ride with Equutrails. I would highly recommend them and would ride with them again.
