We requested a down size of the storage room yesterday. We met Darryl in the office, he provided with us various sizes of smaller storage and prices. He even offered a same transfer from the current 10x10 to a new 10x8 storage. Darryl was professional and friendly.. we were able to finish the move within a couple of hours...

I had a storage unit for three years at this location, and I can honestly say I had great service the entire time. I always felt that my stuff was safe and secure, and it really made my life easier. Daryl provided excellent service all these years I had the unit and was very helpful the summer of 2024 when we had that torrential rain downpour in Toronto. Even though I don’t need my storage unit anymore, I am grateful for the service and security.

The staff are helpful, honest, and truly great. The downside is that StorageMart reserves the right to increase your rent every month, and I believe I was told something like 30%. They also don't tell you this when you sign up, and only when you are there at the facility. StorageMart needs more transparent pricing and policies online.

I was in desperate need of moving supplies…I had offered to help a Friend move, in the Leaside area, but they had seriously, underestimated how many boxes they would need. I didn’t know the area but found a StorageMart and within I found a wonderful StorageMart Employee named Daryl. He wasn’t just helpful, he was happy. (you rarely find Happy Employees, anywhere, these days) yet he was not only happy, he was funny. I walked in, in such a state, and dressed for moving, not to be out in public…but he treated me with such respect …like he just saw me and my dilemma. I promise you that he never tried to upsell, yet… somehow I got a card from him to give to my “moving buddy” to gently suggest she store some of her “stuff”, and maybe rethink some of her life choices, before putting all this stuff into her new home. BEWARE! Read this if you're thinking about renting a storage space here.

Like you, I went online and checked the different prices/locations. I thought I secured a good deal with the location at 120 Wicksteed Avenue. I paid online, and I showed up for the check-in the next day. I even had a few phone calls with their customer service to verify everything and be ready for the check-in.

Check-in day: As soon as I gave them my name and the unit number I reserved, the manager (Paul) stepped in (like he was waiting for me) to tell me that the deal I had was incorrect, and was only valid for 2 months. I had to agree to it before we complete the check-in. I was surprised. I checked the lease agreement I received, and I couldn't find any mention of a promotional offer. I requested a written confirmation or an invoice, and he REFUSED! He said I had to agree to it, and it would appear in the system. I suspect he was trying to change the rate manually in the system. The initial one was too good! THAT'S HOW THEY LURE YOU!
They also TRIED to force me to buy a lock from them, despite the confirmation email stating I could bring my own.
Please exercise CAUTION when you deal with this location. THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE, I GUARANTEE YOUR INVOICE WILL BE SURPRISING!

I went in 30 minutes before closing on the 29th of December all stressed out and exhausted, but Daryl was very patient, kind and helpful with me. He showed me all I needed to see and gave me as much information as I requested with clear explanation and instructions. He even stayed 20 minutes after with me trying to get the system to accept the discount i was supposed to get on the storage unit I rented.
Daryl went above and beyond what was necessary to ensure the service provided to me was more than satisfactory. If you ever need to rent a storage unit, Daryl is the man to go to.

Daryl was awesome while getting set up with my unit. He answered all my questions and made sure I was able to access the building so there were no issues with the delivery of my furniture. This location had the best price in the area for the unit size I was needing and had the best reviews. Hopefully we will be able to downsize soon but we will likely have a unit here for a while.

I have used StorageMart for many years and always had good a impression. We moved out of our unit today and encountered a problem with our lock. Daryl was extremely helpful and friendly despite being bombarded by us first thing in the morning. Did a lot of research before selecting StorageMart. We had a very nice and easy registration process with Daryl. He showed us around the facility as well as our locker and both were clean. We didn’t see any evidence of mouse droppings. Did not give 5 stars because I think our storage unit is expensive even with the introductory offer. We were told that the monthly fee will likely increase at four months. Daryl actually said it could be at 3 months but I told him that the woman on their customer service line said she would guarantee the price for 4 months so he said he would add a note to our account. Let’s hope they honour this promise.

I was at the location to secure one of the storage units, and I really appreciate Maris for being so detailed, patient, and transparent about what to expect with my reservation. She guided me through the entire process, which made the transaction very smooth.

I just hope that StorageMart will continue to grow and become more competitive by opening additional locations in the North York area and adjusting their pricing. Despite being far from where I live, I had a great experience at this location.

Check in process was smooth and Daryl provided me a very detailed introduction to the storage unit and the facility, as well as the detail terms of the lease.
I was informed that rate beyond promotion period would be higher, but that seems to be the same case for all storage’s providers near by.
This facility is clean and well lit.
