I'm not sure why some of the reviews were bad. There's a reason it can be hard to book lessons with this school, they're very busy because they have a good reputation. My friend referred me to this because I needed some practice before going for my full licence. I ended up taking 6 hours of brush up and it was great. Darcy showed me things I was doing wrong that I didn't even know about. It was definitely helpful and I'd highly recommend A Proactive to anyone that actually wants instructors that actually care about you.

I went to A Driving School for my new driver course, and the instructors were terrible. Would definitely recommend A Proactive instead.

last weak i was go here to join a driving school. i want to learn a car driving. when before join this school the everything is OK. i was deposit my fees to owner of driving school. they will give me appointment for my driving classes. but i am go there than i was found that no driving instructor was exist there. when i was took to owner and management about this. no response was i got

Took it 2 months ago and still don't have a chance to drive since "Everything is booked and have to wait in line for couple months". 3 days of lectures were useless as well just was listening for nasty stories how ppl were killed in car accidents and some personal stories..Completely not worth to spent $900!!!!! Faster and more effective go and pass it by yourself or take 2 classes with teacher!REGRET IT SO MUCH!Drashko didn't teach me...hopefully he is better, but otherwise dont spend your money lol

My driving instructor was Drashko and I am extremely happy with it. He is not just a professional instructor, he has a teaching talent. Each lesson ends only with positive emotions. I easily passed the exam. And now I am a happy holder of driver's licence 5 GDL and confident driver. Thank you Drashko and Proactive school! I advise to go to them because they are professional, friendly and try to help with any question and situation.

When I just came to Calgary, I realized horrible truth about this city. Everyone has to drive, because of big distance between job and home, and awful work of public transit. So the first thing which I did was an attempt to find a good driving school for my first driver licence. I did not have success in my search and later my parents advised me "Proactive Driving School", based on good methodology of teaching, excellent training car, and unbelievable fun time while studying. At the first time when I came to "Proactive Driving School", I realized that parents were right about professionalism in every sphere of studying. So it's already passed 2 years since I finished this school, and I am really happy that I studied here and got knowledge which helped me several times on the road.
