I have to say I was pleasantly surprised walking into the the West Ed location Spa Lady earlier this week! They currently are under construction and I don't know who they hired to do the job but it's amazing! Cleanest construction site (if you could call it that) I've ever seen! They are putting modern lockers up, I heard that they are about to get frosted glass showers in the next little while, with hair dryers in their extended washroom area, which I have to say I work in the mall so I can workout & get ready to go back to work right after.

I also got a little peak of the infrared sauna they are building! So excited for that!!!!! That's not even the half of it...they are building a second level! This formerly small gym is getting a second floor & nosey me had to take a little peak through a little glass window downstairs! It's so nice in there! I'm really looking forward to having a "brand new" gym to get my sweat on :) and I will get my sweat on as they will have spin class too & I tried a VIPr class last Weekend and that's amazing.

There's a whole new vibe to this club. The staff are always super helpful & happy and I just love working out there. If your curious about this gym I can just tell you that I love it & am super excited for the next little while. :)

Been a member for a number years, I decided to opt in a consult after having not done one in a long time. What has changed, first time, they just helped me with a individual program to follow..NO COST. With my 2 allotted consult times this time around, I basically just felt I was being harassed on both slots with marketing from my trainer that was assigned to me and manager... to hire the trainer that was to consult with me. Even with my request for a just to give me a individual program to follow...they still did what they can to steer me to say Yes I need help even with my NO's in polite ways. I thought..its obvious these chicks don't care and don't mind if they put me in debt in of $2,200 individual program to start and when I gestured no to that..it went down to $1,200 group program. Guilt and you can't do it alone..you need help tactics. Not cool...SHAME ON YOU, SPA LADY!!! DO NOT BE A VICTiM!!! ...oh yeah...they're throw in a payment plan if you say NO STILL!!! If you are really concerned about my well being...provide it for FREE FOR BEING A PAYING MEMBER. There I said my peace.

The location of the gym is great. However it's extremely small and very crowded. They allow to many people in there classes, I'm pretty sure there breaking fire regulations.

Staff are nice enough. I do wonder though if employees have any training. Last and final thing. They should have more signs around stating to clean the machines after use, 90 percent of people don't. ....blah..
