After articles he joined the firm of Dinning Crawford and began in the field of litigation with a focus on Criminal law. Dinning Crawford became Dinning Hunter in 1995. In 1997 Gary became a partner in the firm and it was renamed Dinning, Hunter, Lambert and Jackson. Over the last 10 years he has focused on Insurance law primarily acting for plaintiffs. He has done numerous cases in the Supreme Court of British Columbia as well as the Court of Appeal and some Small Claims Court. He has conducted multiple jury trials as well as Judge alone trials with a great deal of success. <p> Recently Gary has been diversifying the firm's focus and conducting some defense work for private individuals and Insurance companies. <p> Gary has been a member of the Trial Lawyer's Association since 1994 and was responsible for setting up the Vancouver Island Practice Tips subsection; chairing and organizing seminars on civil litigation issues. I have used his services and can say he is the type of person who actually cares and takes great pride in preparing your case for trial. He keeps you informed of what is happening and gets you involved in the preparation (if you are available to do so), answering all your questions making sure you understand the court process.
Watching how he presents himself in a formal court setting, you see his professionalism and relaxed yet confident demeanor. He is calm, articulate and firm. He works for you and respects you, it is almost as if you are not only his client, but a friend - how many of you can say that about a lawyer.
He is highly recommended.
