In 1927, Frank pioneered the business on Bloem Ave. With his commitment to “courteous and professional service,” A Alert Drain quickly developed a solid reputation as an expert in the community. <p> In the 1950s, Frank passed the business to his son. After receiving his D9 license, Bill Passer carried on his father’s entrepreneurial spirit by expanding A Alert Drain’s services to meet the changing needs of a growing city. By embracing new technologies and techniques, in the office and on the job, A Alert Drain remained a leader in the industry by setting the standard for drain service. Forty three years later, in 1992, Bill’s daughters Gloria and Lillian took over the operation and have recruited the best of the best in drain maintenance and plumbing. With his daughters at the helm, A Alert Drain has emerged as one of the most experienced names in the business. Today, a handful of Frank’s great grandchildren are now learning the family trade.
