My wife (with 2 children and a newborn baby) was driving behind a Skyrider truck on the 401. The truck had a literal *pile* of rocks and debris on the tail-end of the tailer. Several of the rocks came off, smashed our windshield, and gouged paint out of our hood and another vehicle. On top of it, the driver was talking on the phone (not hands-free) at the time!
- When I first contacted the company, a "Graham MacLeod" contacted me back, his email signature stating he's the "Internal claims adjuster" (casing his).
- I sent details of the incident, with images, license plate, longitude & latitude from the images.
- He replied, offering to pay for the repairs at Woodbridge Collision. I said I would prefer to go to 427 Auto Collision, which is near us, and I know are reliable.
- He then changed direction, saying it's "no fault", that my wife must have been following too close!
This business owner is dishonest, and has no concept of Service. I'm reporting them to the MTO, with photos of the debris on the truck.
