I began seeing Dr. Sondhi after years of migraine headaches that were triggered by chronic stress. They began with tension headaches and evolved over years. When I walked into the Atlas clinic I had tried allopathic medicine for over 10 years, including daily medications, and meds that cost over 300 per day. I had used meds that made my upper body numb so I could function. No allopath (MD) could find a cause or improve the frequency or intesity of the headaches. I had tried acupuncture and Chinese herbalism for over 2 years, homeopathics for over 5 years, Western herbalism for years, nutrition for years, and traditional chiropractic with three different doctors. I had done detoxes and GAPS. My point is that I was committed to every therapy and sought out leaders in each field. The condition improved with the herbs and homeopathics, but never completely resolved, despite my complete belief in the various holistic systems of healing. So I will preface this by saying placebo is not the issue.

After one visit with Dr. Vic I felt dramatic improvement. His methods are odd and they are not going to be justified scientifically to the satisfaction of Western medicine as it is today. However, when you are in pain and someone can touch you and alleviate that pain, scientific validation is irrelevant. This therapy has helped me immensely - I can go in the office in discomfort and leave feeling immediately better. I am not suffering from migraines after only one month of treatment and my posture (chronic forward head carriage) is drastically better. The headaches peek through, then disappear with no medication or rest. If you have ever had a migraine, you know that does not happen. Even more impressive, chronic emotional issues in my life have become 'unstuck' and unhealthy patterns have resolved. No amount of counseling brought this resolution - and I was earnestly seeking.

Lastly, I can say that Dr. Vic emanates love and genuine goodwill for his clients and the meager amount that NUCCA has cost me is nothing compared to what I spent on years of pharmaceuticals that damaged my body in various ways. I can't explain the therapy to you because I don't yet understand it fully, but that does not stop me from recommending it. I highly recommend Dr. Vic and NUCCA for anyone suffering physical pain related to spinal issues or patterns of emotional dysfunction.
