Lonnie has been a “car guy†since he was probably 2 or 3 years old. "My mother tells me that I could barely talk, but could name the cars going by on the street!" said Lonnie. The best thing about working at Performance Improvements Oshawa is being able to help people get the most out of their vehicles. "I attend as many car shows and cruises as I can and try to work with the local car clubs in their assorted ventures." Lonnie is quite knowledgeable on all muscle car era engines and cars. Fair knowledge on 1st generation computer controlled American muscle cars as well (T.P.I. GM , 5.0 Fords and Magnum V-8 mopars). Lonnie has lots of experience with rebuilding and tuning Holley and Edelbrock carbs, but his specialty is fitting max wheels and tires to muscle cars. He presently owns 2 ‘cudas (Hemicuda and a V-10 street machine), 2 Dodge Dakota trucks and a Buick Apollo, as well as a Honda CBX motorcycle.
