Arriving at the Victoria Airport at 11:30PM, with 4 adults, a 2 year old child, and a large amount of luggage, we had hoped to grab a cab to our motel. Not one of the cars was able to accommodate us, so we politely asked a driver to call for a Van. After 15 minutes I asked a second driver to confirm that a car was dispatched, he promised he would do so while driving his next fair. After a further 20 minutes I called YellowCab myself, astonished to here that neither driver had bothered to contact them; promising a Van was enroute, I ended the call. After ANOTHER half hour, I called back asking for an ETA. After talking is circles, I asked for a yes or no answer, was a cab dispatched. Finally the dispatcher admitted that no van was dispatched, nor would there be at any time. When I asked why I had been told otherwise a half-hour ago, the dispatcher became incredibly rude, at which time I ended the call.

I will never give a single penny to YellowCab again. The drivers and dispatcher lied to us, leaving us waiting well over an hour for a cab that was by their own admission never coming. According to airport staff, this is their strategy to force groups to use multiple cabs to increase their fair.

My advice, phone BlueBird or Victoria cab before your flight, and arrange to have them meet you at your arrival time. YellowCab doesn't deserve your business.

I have been using Yellow Cab for years and they now have a customer for life. I dropped my new iPhone 5 in the back on a cab this evening and the driver, being morale person, got it back to me. You are wonderful, thank you infinitely. I will never take another taxi again. Yellow Cab rock!
