I don't think you need to do sleep study on a dentist office as they will always recommend oral appliance or CPAP.... go to eye ear and throat specialist there's one in South Health Campus, you just need referral from your family doctor... they have all kinds of treatment for you you with no cost at all plus they are specializing on this kind of treatment. I hate when people push stuff for you to buy but actually doesn't help.

My dentist recommended me to see the Snore Center . After visitation and sleep apnea was determined , I was almost pushed into an appliance . The recommendation from the Snore Center was to purchase the appliance. My prior teeth grinding has caused a situation where I now need 8 crowns to open the bite then extensive work to build up my front teeth . My feelings at this time are that the Snore Center should of recommended me to have reconstruction work done first , then try the de snoring appliance . The appliance seemed to have very minor effect on my sleep apnea and now I have a $ 2600 appliance that does not fit . I am disappointed and the time and funds spent would have had a more pleasing appeal to me spent on a cruise or at a casino.
