I was told on arrival that it would take 20-30 minutes for a routine X-ray. After I sat there for almost an hour watching people that came in after me come and go I was going to go to the desk to find out why. Then someone called me. When I was taken into the room she asked me where my lump was and after reading another patients form found out that it was not my requisition. She went to look for my requisition and could not find it only to find out the X-ray tech had it but had called others before me. I feel that this clinic caters to a demographic that I do not belong to and it is very evident!

Had a great experience at WNR. Shabane was my technologist. She was very courteous, thorough. Explained everything before she did the procedure and during the procedure. Very caring, professional individual! Great job! Thank you to all the health care workers at WNR!

Sid did a fantastic job on my bilateral foot ultrasound. He would ask if I needed anything else, plus with his experience he knew what other areas should be scanned. Thank you. Casey W.

The whole staff is very nice. One of the technicians Shabana specially is very good. I am seeing her for my second pregnancy and every time I go there, she explains everything to me very well. Location is good and lots of parking space too.

Went for an ultrasound of the bladder. Easy to reach location. Good parking. Friendly service. They did not make me wait. Nazish did the ultrasound and was courteous, thorough and helpful.

There was no Covid-19 screening, only a note taped to the wall asking that you cover your mouth and nose if you have fever, cough, sore throat.
There was a significant wait in the waiting room with chairs close together. I did not see any wiping/ cleaning of these chairs while I was there.
When I was in the examination room, the technician stayed in the room while I dressed/undressed and did not provide a gown. I was also asked to walk from examination room to washroom. (I did choose to dress first, contrary to technician preference)
The technician asked me to take a deep breath and hold it so many times I began to feel light headed, partly because she took an extraordinarily long time to complete the test. I’ve had this test done several times before. It usually takes about 15-20 mins. This time it was well over an hour.
This was a very unpleasant experience.

My doctor told me they do walk in ultrasound so I went. The man at the desk said sure, sure and told me to wait so I did. An hour later I went in. I wouldn't have waited if I knew it would take that long. The lady seemed very nice but the ultrasound room was really, really hot and she was really sweating it was kind of gross. I have had ultrasounds before and this one took way longer than the other ones so for sure I thought something was wrong. I also couldn't understand the technician. My doctor got the results the next day and the results were normal. It wasn't the greates experience but at least I didn't have to wait 2 weeks.

My doctor gave me a requisition for an abdominal ultrasound because of upper and lower abdomen pain. She told me it would take about a week to get in to True North. At WNR they took me the next morning and had the results to my doctor the very next day!! Within 24 hours I was able to start looking at treatment options rather than having to wait to find out what was wrong. Why wait when you don't have to. They are a new (very nicely appointed) clinic in North Waterloo, so are highly available for walk-in or short booking appointments and will help take the burden off other sites where you have to wait so long - up to 6 weeks depending on the diagnostic service.
