If I could a 0 score I would. Called for can the night before to go to airport and they showed up 20 minutes late and blamed dispatch. Funny the taxi service that swore to change their ways with customer service in 2016. Good thing UBER is around.

Was a short ride downtown and the driver yelled at me almost the entire way because he wanted a farther fare. He even refused to turn on the meter. Worst cab experience in memory. Unbelievable. Would give zero stars if possible.

How can a cab ride from Point A to Point B cost $40.00 with BECK,,, and the same cab ride with Diamond cost $60.00?
Also I thought it was illegal to smoke in the work place in Ontario?
And the taxi industry is going to complain about UBER....how about UP-URZ!!!

No wonder why people take uber and not a real taxi, let alone diamond. The ladies that run the dispatch centre and rude and incompetent. Never again. I will tell all my clients to take uber and never call diamond again when I have large conferences and clients need rides.

I use Diamond regularly and the dispatcher consistently says 'ten minutes' no matter how long the perceived delay will be. OnJuly 31st I had an urgent need to get to tgh, got the usual '10 minutes', waited 15 minutes, called again, when the finally driver arrived he said he was held up in trafic, but not for 25 minutes. The dispatcher should have directed another cab my way.
.I see a distinct deterioration in this service in the past year, and an increased reluctance of the drivers to get out of the cab and offer to help.

Usually I don’t complain about things but this time is a little too much for me.
I took Taxi Diamond to go back home on Friday night. I told the driver my full address and asked him if he knew where it was. That is when it started, he answered in a very non-friendly way that “OF COURSE” he knew, so I decided not to bother him for the rest of the trip (maybe he had a bad day). The driver made many detours and when we arrived at my place he passed in front of my place accelerating like crazy. I told him that he was through and he had to go back. He started to yell at me saying that I should have told him before (even though he was very unfriendly while saying to me that he knew where it was!!!)
Arriving home, I complained to taxi diamond about it, officially by their website. They called back saying that I didn’t have the name of the driver nor the number of the taxi so they assumed that I was lying (the guy on the phone even told me that: “you are not giving me the right information!” they don’t have GPS on their taxis?? I thought they had!)! Awesome! Like I said earlier, I’m not used to make complains so I do not have the reflex to take every single piece of information! So another un friendly person from taxi Diamond...

called them and waited nearly an hour, after calling them again they said they were on their way, 15 minutes later i call and they said they had to turn around and get something. this taxi service was the worst ive ever recieved, i ended up calling becki taxi and they showed up in 10 minutes, and still no sign of diamond taxi. these people are unprofessional and are also liars, never call them for any service!! and i mean any!!! youve been warned. this is my first time i have ever wrote a review let alone a bda one but damn it needed to be done!

Called for a cab to take my mom to the hospital (not an emergency) and we sat waiting for a cab for over an hour that never showed up.
Called after 30-45 minutes and was told it was on its way. Called again later and was told the driver claimed he showed up and we weren't there. Load of B.S. as I was there watching the whole time. And the address was confirmed on more than one occasion.
Worst taxi service I've ever received in my life.

Extremely rude driver. I was in car for short 3 block drive and when I passed the driver my debit card to pay, he told me it was a minimum $10 to use debit. Ended up charding me the equivalent of 25% of the fare price to use debit. And that was only after forcing me to wait for several minutes while he berated me for not having cash.

Called for a taxi and the driver locked the doors when I tried to go into the cab, tried to talk to the guy and he wouldn't even open the windows. I called him ( as I had his number on my cell when he called to say he was at a wrong location - long story) then he said he didn't know it was me who was trying to get into the cab - right! then he proceeded to yell at me when I said I would call customer service, called their dispatch and the lady sounded like she was doing me a favour - listen I pay for this service it's not like it's for free...wtf?!! if you want to make sure you or your friends get to your/their destination safely do not ever use this company.

Talked to a female named sophie who sounded drunk or high. Had an associate go up to speak to a manager who was getting drunk with what looked like a dispatch area. I can only say that if everyone is trashed inside the facility i can only imagine yheir drivers are the same. Dont use them. They should do drug and alchol tests om their staff. Horrible and appaulded!

The only saving grace during my Diamond Taxi ride experience today was the courteousness of the driver. Otherwise, the car was filthy. Unbelievable built-up grime on the door panels, handles, seats, and overall dirty upholstery. The car looked old, with remains of cigarette burns on the backs of the front seats. It smelled dusty and musty. The car shook so badly during the drive I didn't feel safe. Obviously, the registered owner takes no pride in his car or cares about the customer. Next time there is a line of cabs, I will avoid a repeat of this experience and not necessarily pick the first one in the row. By the way, some drivers could use a good cleanup, too!

Driver decided to pee on the side of our house!!!!!?????!!!!!
Besides being disgusting, this is so impolite and rude.
Cabbie was waiting for his fare and I saw him open our gate, cross our yard and when I went out to find out what he was doing...he was peeing on the side of the house. This was 2pm in the afternoon on June 1st.
SO DISGUSTING! Shame on the driver (driving #A177) and shame on the company if nothing is done about this.

I just tried to book a taxi to pick my son up from his school when the bus dropping him off from a school trip arrived. The first woman was very unclear and kept telling me to call back when I was ready because I accidentally gave her the drop off information rather than the pickup information first. I got frustrated, telling her that I wanted to book now, and she got totally unreasonable. Transfered me to her supervisor and she was equally unpleasant. I asked that the cab be there for 11:00pm because he's pretty young and I didn't want him waiting. All she did was tell me that "her grandkids take taxis alone all the time" and that "he's fine at his age". I wanted a taxi at 11 not a lesson on parenting.

terrible terrible, I called to order a cab, and asked them if their debit terminals require a chip in the credit card, with a pin number, or if they were the old regular swipe ones, ( because i couldnt find my pin number) the lady on the phone couldnt even answer this simple question, and didnt even try to find out otherwise, said she had no means of contacting the drivers at all to find out, and there was no supervisor on duty. I told her that was absolutely ridiculous and called beck taxi, who promply answered this question. Bottom line, I wouldnt reccomend this taxi company at all.

I greatly appreciate the wonderful taxi ride from downtown (900 Bay) to Airport on Wednesday May 8th 2009. I forgot my blackberry on the back seat and the driver went beyond the call of duty to send it to me purolator express. WOW! What great service!
