I highly recommend Whalley. They replaced my mother's entire roof in just one day without cutting any corners. The team arrived right on time, worked hard all day, and left my mom's property spotless. The communication with Darlene was excellent from start to finish, and the pricing was very fair. We hired Whalley's Four Seasons to replace the flat tar and gravel roof on our 1968 side-by-side duplex in Bowness, and I couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish.

Before hiring them, we collected quotes from eight different roofing companies across Calgary. Whalley's stood out immediately — their quote was thorough, they provided a professional Roofr measurement report, and they were the only contractor to proactively include their WCB clearance and $2M liability insurance without us having to ask.

Communication was outstanding. They kept us informed at every stage and sent photos throughout the process so we could see exactly what was happening on the roof.

What really impressed us was their integrity. During the spring thaw, our roof was leaking and they came out and cleared all the standing water off the roof — not once but twice — at no added cost. They didn't have to do that, and most companies wouldn't.

The workmanship was top-notch. The job site was kept clean throughout, and when they finished, you'd never know a major roofing project had just taken place. The crew was professional, friendly, and clearly knew flat roofs inside and out.

We are very pleased with our experience with Whalley's Four Seasons Roofing.
We called them due to drywall falling off in an area of a previous leak.
Matt and Ed were able to come promptly to inspect the roof and attic. They explained clearly what was causing the leaking, the extent of the damage, and what was needed to fix the damage and to prevent further problems.
We were impressed by their knowledge and experience and chose Whalley's to perform the work.
Scheduling was quick and Matt and crew arrived right on time.
The existing damaged areas were repaired and new components were installed that were needed to give us a solid and sound roof.

They were helpful and thorough during the investigation and quoting process, and the crew on site showed excellent attention to detail. They handled everything that came up during the shingle replacement, went above and beyond to ensure our minor roof leak was fixed. We had the best experience with Ed and his team from Whalley's Four Season Roofing and you will too!

A big wind storm in June had lifted some of our shingles, leaving our roof exposed. Unfortunately, it rained and we ended up with water dripping through the cracks in the plywood sheets and into our attic, then down into our upper level. We called Whalley's and Darlene was so patient and understanding while I explained what had happened. She sent Ed out to do our estimate the very next day. This man is a delight - a true long serving professional that takes the time to inspect, explain, and talk to the client. He was personable and honest and just super helpful; even giving me tips about how to clean the water stain on our ceiling.

We received the estimate via email, and the work was scheduled right away. Ed even called to make sure we were good to go so he could order our shingles before the long weekend to avoid any delays. The repair job was completed on July 3, 2025 by two very nice gentleman, who showed up exactly when they were scheduled. They introduced themselves, shook hands, and were very polite and friendly. They put down tar paper to cover our exposed roof (apparently this isn't done by homebuilders anymore if your roof is sharply pitched - which would have saved us the leaking), they caulked the edged of the shingles down to make sure the patch wouldn't lift. You can't even tell the roof was patched - the shingles were a perfect match. They also went around and hammered any exposed nails to make sure there no other shingles lifted. The gents then collected loose shingles from our yard that had blown off the roof. (Love dudes who clean up!) It's been a month since the repair with lots of stormy and windy weather and everything is perfectly intact.

I would recommend Whalley's for any roofing job, big or small, because this family-run business really knows their stuff and how to treat clients. They are professional, personable, super-fast and very skilled. It was just a wonderful experience all around.
