What a mistake it was to hire Pacific West Van Lines. They hired out our move to another company and didn't tell us. Then the other company ruined, damaged and lost our stuff. Pacific offered $200 for us to be quiet. Nope.
They ruined a 45 year old piano, our master bed frame is water damaged, they scratched our coffee tables and colored them in with sharpie, they lost some toys and we are missing pieces. They didn't arrive until 8:30 at night and we had to get a hotel. They banged the walls in our old house and wore their shoes without any runners or protective floor coverings. It was awful. Do not use this company!!

I have been trying to get my belongings delivered to me for over a month now. In April 2014 I hired Pacific West Van Lines to pick up my belongings from my 1bdrm apt in Peterborough, ON and deliver them directly to my new residence in Cranbrook, BC. My living arrangements changed so I notified them before the scheduled pick-up date of May 30, 2014 that they were to deliver to Kimberley, BC instead. I was assured there would be no problem but I've had nothing BUT problems from pick-up. May 30th they were scheduled to arrive at 9am - assured me this would be no problem - then did not arrive until 4:15pm following COUNTLESS excuses. Then, instead of delivering everything directly to BC as they assured me they placed my belongings in their Scarborough, ON warehouse and to this day (July 3, 2014) I cannot get a straight answer as to when they are going to finally deliver. They do not return my e-mails or phone calls, and when I am fortunate enough to get someone on the phone, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnect me. No choice now but I am going to contact POLICE! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BELONGINGS!

Pacific West movers are careful with their stuff (they normally move furniture) and assist you in figuring out how to store the stuff efficiently. They are able to move things through really tight spaces. I highly recommend the services of Pacific West Van Lines.

Iām so happy to have chosen Pacific West Van Lines to help me move my furniture out of my house. Moving is always a hassle but pacific West Movers was very helpful and they created a stress-free move for me. Everyone was very courteous and when the mover s came in, they placed everything into moving boxes and made sure everything was protected. My experience with PWVL was really good overall and I will definitely come back to them if I ever move again.
