I relocated to Winnipeg a few weeks ago and bought a condo. It was crawling with red ants—which I wasn’t aware of prior to settling it. I contacted First Responders to get the matter dealt with on a more immediate front. The building management was dragging their toes, so to speak, and I wanted the problem resolved. The guys at FR had my condo swept over and eliminated the problem. They even found similar, minor problems in the units surrounding me—which, I imagine resulted in more sales for them. Anyways, great job.

We returned home from Christmas vacation to find out our apartment/condo complex had bed bugs on January 7, 2017. We called Responders in the middle of the night on a Saturday and they were the ONLY company to call us back in a reasonable time frame. It was devastating to come home from a trip and see bugs all over your pillow. They called back on Sunday morning at 8am (all the others got back mid day Monday and later in the week) and were ready to set up to come as early as we could get our pre checklist done on January 11, 2017. Jordan endured countless calls and texts and photos of any sign of bugs we could imagine at all hours of the day and night. We agreed on the heat treatment procedure which included the chemical sprays. We had Rhys and Micheal (employee not president) come out and seemed to have at least 6 (probably more we couldn't see) heat fans for under 1000 square feet. They also were kind enough to spray our vehicle and outdoor storage and were incredibly patient with us as it was quite a traumatizing experience and walked us through to make sure all things such as batteries, soaps, candles were all placed in the fridge. They spent the day at our place and made sure to continually check the heat temperature (as did we with our infrared temperature gun). Afterwards, they made sure before they left to schedule a follow up to make sure we were rid of the bugs. They returned to spray the home and vehicle again (not due to seeing bugs but more for our peace of mind). For peace of mind, when we thought we saw another bug close to a month later, Rhys came out the same day and answered a ton more questions to help put our mind at ease. Is pest control removal expensive in general? Yes, but for the cost for the their availability, the openness and patience to listen to a customer freaking out, the professionalism and the one year guarantee, it has given us the ability to sleep at night again. I don’t necessarily pay attention to site reviews because I know they can be bull. However I hired Pest Control with a grain of salt and they did an excellent job. They were professional and genuinely kind people. They came in and did their job—end of story. They did what we asked and got rid of all signs of pests from my property. Short of taking me out to dinner, I couldn’t ask for more.

Total rip off!!! I have a mice problem at home, bascially they came and did the exact job I've been doing. I still have mice so I wasted $280 for traps and some poison that I can do myself. When I decided to bring an exterminator I wasn't expecting to throw my money in the toilet and still have this problem.. horrible service I did call them back a month later to inspect my house again but they said it's an additional $75 ..
I recommend you to try another place.

Horrible, total rip off. Never saw a difference after two treatments. Came in regular clothing to spread bugs worse. No receipt. Very rude! Then said it's too much hassle to continue. Wow! How are these people in business.

Somehow got bedbugs - Responders showed up within days and brought the heat.

My sister from Calgary got bed bugs and she has been staying over at my place for a while now. I became really paranoid that they may transfer to me. I searched online for a reliable expert to check it out. I phoned Responders and they were at my place within 48 hours. Luckily, he did not find any bed bugs in the house and he gave me suggestions to prevent me from getting bed bugs in the future. I've got their number on my fridge now.

We’ve been living in this house for more than 10 years and we have never had a problem with bed bugs before. I believe it was a relative that brought them in. It was awful. We immediately phoned Responders and Drake picked up and quickly organized an inspection. They came over the next day to rid these pests. They worked extremely hard and came back to reassess after the initial work was done and educated our family on how to prevent this situation from happening again in the future. If anyone is having the same bed bug problem as me, please phone Responders. If they don’t find anything, they will not charge you. They are a very honest, trustworthy, and reliable company.

My girlfriend got lots of red small rashes on her arm when she slept over. We realized the bed was infested with little nasty bedbugs. There are mice in my garage getting into the house and I couldn’t find where they were hiding. I called Responders, they put me on hold for like 5 mins but the call was worth waiting. Their exterminator answered directly are knowledgeable about the service. I decided to have them inspect my garage. My son was complaining about very itchy skin rashes last week and we found out that it was bedbug bites. I searched for a pest control company and found Responders. I called them immediately and the guy I talked to was very cheerful and accommodating. He gave me advice on what to do and he promised to leave the rest of the problem with them. They did a heat treatment and that was it! The technology involved is actually quite neat. Thanks to Responders. Oh, and one little thing I liked: there were no pictures of roaches or logos on the truck that pulled up at the house. It was very discreet.

One weekend I visited my mom’s house and left scratching my upper leg. It looked like a freshly bitten spots. I asked my mom if she was experiencing the same thing and she said yes, on her arms and chest. I googled some pest control numbers and ended up with the Responders because I liked their site and prices. Turns out it was bed bugs that were infesting my mom’s place and I’m happy that I won’t have to worry about her now. Took two treatments to get it all done. Pretty easy.
