Bob promised me twice to come over to install couple of base boards for me and he wanted to charge $180 plus gst for a 10 minutes job. He never showed up or called. He is so unreliable and I would not recommend his company. If this is his attitude towards his customers, by not showing up for the job, it shows his work attitude and workmanship as well. He doesn't really care....

The communication and work was great and the final product was as promised.

We contracted Avix Design & Construction Co to do some major house interior work at our property in Hope, BC.
It included grinding the basement cement floor, clean up & laminate floor install, removal of all carpet upstairs & laminate flooring, installation of base boards & full house paint job, plumbing in the kitchen & bathroom repairs. All garbage was taken to the dump.
They started and finished the job as per agreement.
We are extremely happy with the execution of the job as to both the quality & time frame within which they completed the work.
On a scale of 1 to 5 we give him a five star rating.
We have and will refer him without hesitation to our friends & colleagues in the future.

Poor quality of work, leaves the site horribly messy with garbage scattered.
What is worst, is I saw him dump construction garbage (nails, pieces of wood, cement, and Styrofoam) over a fence into a residential yard.

Hi Mr. Ranza Dosanjh The timing of the review posting and a small green belt next to your property indicates this is your review. Your project was 100% funded by the government. You did not have to pay a single penny from your pocket. I had to shut down your work four days before finishing as you did not pay even though you received money from the government. You gave me a cheque that was returned back by the bank indicating that the bank account was not traceable. That is fraud. I lost total confidence in you in regard to receiving payment for the work done. You never replied back to any messages of mine to the point that I had to fill up all the paperwork for the government and send it to them at your request. My contract clearly indicated the times when the payment was due. It was your responsibility to pay when the work reached a certain point. That never happened. I have about 600 pictures of the project till the last day we walked off due to non payment. About the green belt , it is just a dumping ground where there is food garbage & soiled diapers and other garbage thrown there. I can pass by and take a picture of the area and post it on my website if you want everyone to see it. We did not dump anything there. There is still money owed to me in this project. I hope this clears the air for people that read Your review Bob

If there was a negative star rating I would have selected it.
The contractor Bob 778-938-8195 had six week to complete the job and then only worked 23 hrs periodically. Call him to check on it so he can lie to you.
From his written scope of work he started multiple parts of the job and completed none of it on time and left the project due to "injury"
Home was left dirty, none of the garbage was removed, and it was left to the home owner to get the job done.
Bob is unreliable, lies to the home owner often, and the quality of work is below average.

Hi Chris & Erin Sison It is not surprising that you have given my company this review. You still owe me a lot of money from that renovation. According to you , I put in 23 hours periodically. Here is what I did at your place in two weeks. 1. Demolished your concrete shower walls & base. 2. Framed your shower and provided & installed a 48 inch shower base. Framed the bathroom window. 3.Provided a Moen shower faucet & installed it. I paid for it. 4.Drywalled the entire shower area with humitek drywall. 5. installed the 12 X 24 inch tiles in the shower area. You were supposed to the buy and pickup the tile. I had to get them as you made excuses that you could not go. I paid for them. never got reimbursed. 6.Demolished the rest of the bathroom walls. 7. insulated the walls (not part of contract. You did not even pay for the insulation & labour) 8.Installed drywall on the ceiling & walls on the inside and outside to cover the cedar boards. 9.Relocated your bathroom fan. 10.Did three coats of plaster, ready to sand. 11.Installed ceramic tile on the bathroom floor. You were supposed to get the tile. I had to get them as you could not go. I wasted so much time to match them as you could not do so. 12.Provided & installed a custom sized door for the bathroom with a 7 inch frame. 13.Provided & installed the row of kitchen cabinets including drawers & doors. 14. Provided & installed the counter top on the cabinets. Total installation finished. 15.Corrected a lot of issues that were not correctly done by the previous homeowner as requested by you. 16.Had the sliding shower door installed by glass company. Not paid for. Dropped off the bathroom vanity & toilet. All this was not done in 23 hours but over two weeks. According to you the contractor should have x-ray vision to see behind walls and below concrete floors. No one can do that. I hurt my back unloading the toilet from my truck. You say it like it was fake. Why would I fake it? You still had to pay me. If you get disabled with excruciating back pain, you would also not be able to work. I can guarantee you that. You did not even pay me for all the materials I used at your place. You paid 0 dollars for labour. You did not even pay the shower door company. They are contemplating a lien on your property. I also have options. All the demolition garbage was put in the pool house. I have pictures of that. The concrete from the shower base was put right outside your garage door in one corner. I have pictures of that too. Most contractors now take before & after pictures of their projects. I also take pictures on a daily basis of work completed. I have the pictures of what was done at your house till my last day there. I also have copies of all communication I had with you both. They could be uploaded here and everyone then can see who is lying. 23 hours for all the above mentioned work. even Superman could not do it. Anyone that reads this can call me to see the pictures and print outs of the communications I had with you both BobJ
