When Sask Maids did a market analysis in the Saskatoon area we noticed the ridiculous amounts that maid service clients were paying. Some of the Saskatoon clients were paying $40-$45-$50 an hour for 1 maid. <p> We hardly find this suitable for our clients and for our business. To have happy clients we need to have a system where the clients benefit in all aspects. <p> If you pay your maid $40.00 an hour plus gst every week for a 3 hour cleaning with 52 weeks in a year that equates to a cost of $6552.00 Sask Maids will charge you $5555.68. That is a savings of $996.32. That makes a nice Gic or RRSP. Where else can a customer go where they can receive the same product, if not better, and have such a savings. <p> Our customers provided us with the feed back that they weren't happy with the cost of other maid services, they said they couldn't enjoy the experience because of the high costs, so Sask Maids developed a strategy to ensure happiness: <p> Be at your appointment on time! Show up to pay your maid a half hour before she finishes! Pay your lovely maid with cash or e-transfer! <p> Credit Card and debit fees are extremely high and these costs are borne by the customer. No frills here, Cash or E-Transfer only. Business can open accounts, this is on a case by case basis. Once regular clients are established, they can open an account and pay their invoice via cheque monthly. Read more
