I hired this company to inspect my roof following concerns about potential damage caused by others' work. This was not a routine annual roof inspection or a preventive maintenance check.

My concern is not with the technical findings of the report. Rather, the issue is that the report does not accurately describe the reason the inspection was requested. I asked Mr. Blaise Poirier, who conducted the inspection and prepared the report, to include a brief clarification—either in the report itself or in a separate amendment—stating that the inspection was conducted in response to concerns about possible damage. I was surprised by his response that he was "not authorized" to do so, without providing any meaningful explanation as to why such a clarification could not be added.

Mr. Poirier also ignored my request for the original inspection photographs referenced in the report. I only received them after escalating the matter by copying the company's general email address.

Despite several exchanges with Mr. Poirier, my straightforward request to clarify the purpose of the inspection was repeatedly refused. Instead, I received responses emphasizing transparency and professionalism, but the actual issue I raised was never directly addressed. At no point did I ask him to modify the technical findings, conclusions, or professional opinions contained in the report. I was only requesting that the purpose of the inspection be accurately documented.

What disappointed me most was the apparent inability or unwillingness to distinguish between a request to alter technical conclusions and a request to clarify the context in which the inspection was performed. Rather than engaging with the substance of my request, Mr. Poirier repeatedly relied on general statements about professional standards without addressing the specific issue I had raised.

In my view, a professional inspection report should accurately reflect not only the findings of the inspection but also the reason why the inspection was requested. Over the years, I have retained several inspectors for different projects. This is the first time I have encountered such resistance to a simple request for clarification.

Was I satisfied with the service provided by Mr. Poirier and this company? Unfortunately, no. While the inspection itself was completed, the handling of a reasonable client request left me with little confidence that my concerns were being taken seriously. Based on my experience, the company's stated commitment to customer satisfaction was not reflected in the service I received.

For potential customers seeking a technical report for use in a legal dispute, insurance claim, or other formal proceeding, I recommend confirming in advance how the purpose and context of the inspection will be documented in the final report. Based on my experience, I would not retain this company again for that type of assignment.

The best roofing company in Quebec. I had my house and commercial buildings done and I am thoroughly impressed with the work and quality of the work and professionalism by this company. They were there when promised and the worked efficiently and completed the work on time as promised. I highly recommend them to anyone requiring roofing work on any building! Bravo!

I had a commericial 10,000 sq ft roof to replace, Once i called, I received a promp visit from representative to review needed work and send estimate. Work was scheduled and done soon after estimate was approved. Rene Perron and his monster team showed up at 6:45AM and from the moment they got here, these guys don't mess around! 2 cranes, 2 asphalt trucks, and about 8 container trucks showed up all at the same time. Within minutes they were set up and started the job. Their team is extremely well organized, every worker knew exactly what his job was, absolutely no time wasted with 27 guys on the job. Very impressive.

Update, 2024. The roof caps were installed with an angle towards the outside of the building instead of to the inside of the roof leaving black stains on my brick right around the building. I sent two emails and made two phone calls, asking them to redo the angles on my roof and wash the black mould off of, my brick. They sent two people to correct the angles however have huge black stains every 8 feet right around my building. They have not answered my phone calls or emails. Truthfully, I’m quite disappointed. Photos of the stains will be posted in the next week or two. I really hope that they can rectify the situation professionally.

Hands down recommend! Rene Perron was phenomenal start to finish! My roof started leaking (in many rooms!) one day into the Quebec Construction Holiday. They quickly responded to my frantic emails and were able to schedule my emergency repair immediately. The team was one of the most organized, efficient, and professional I have ever seen - it was truly impressive. Neighbours even gathered to watch them work! Communication was outstanding. They put up signs to block off necessary street space the day before. They put down plywood to protect my driveway and property as they worked. They installed a completely new roof in one day (~1700sf). I opted for the asphalt & gravel - and the white marble is already making a noticeable improvement to reduce the temperature indoors! The 15 year guarantee only adds to my satisfaction. Thank you, Rene Perron!!
