The man who showed up was nice enough although I did get a feeling that he knew what the best solution was and that I should trust only him to tell me when two other professionals came in here and said they couldn't be sure what the problem was. Basement Systems' solution was $4000. From the help of the other professionals, I was able to pinpoint the problem myself and the solution was to unclog a drain; something that cost under $300. Maybe I will find out in the future that I do need the expensive solution they offered me but it looks like it's repaired now.
