Update:
This business is using a PO box for a business address. I had driven by yesterday. From what I understand businesses are not allowed to do this. Google has been notified and I hope they take action. This proves how dishonest this company is. There are far better roofing companies to deal with in Orillia then these guys.

Roofing for Less - provided a detailed quote promptly. They were competitively priced as we had 2 other quotes to compare.
Communication was great as they texted when to expect the materials on the driveway and the bin 2 days prior to start date. Arrived the day they said they would and roof was stripped and reshingled within two days. Provided a good clean up afterward. Pictures show roof in 2023 vs the new roof they just installed. Mystique Classic Brown. Was impressed with their professionalism.

Roofing for Less recently completed our shingle roof. We love our finished look and the colour we chose BP Mystique Antique Slate matches perfectly with our brick. Everyone was friendly, polite and easy to work with even during the mess of the installation process!

Roofing For Less installed the roof on our custom-built house. Big mistake.

Three years later, we found a leak around the plumber’s stack—after drywall and window trim were already damaged. When we contacted the company, Jody from the company responded that they’d send someone “when they have time.” Not willing to wait through spring rains, we hired another roofer the next day. They found so many problems that we decided Roofing For Less would never touch our roof again.

When we asked them to cover the repairs under warranty, Jody’s responses were ridiculous:
• She’d report us to the police for “extortion.”
• She’d leave a bad review for the roofer who fixed their mistakes.
• Claimed someone else tampered with the roof because “the nails look new.”
• Blamed the pipe—not their roofing work.

And more nonsense.

After some arguing, Jody agreed to cover $500 of the $900+ repair bill. I sent the invoice and payment details—then waited. No payment. Called again—she said her e-transfer was “broken.” Waited again—no response. Then she claimed the cheque was mailed two weeks ago. Still nothing.

I have emails and photos to prove all of this.

Bottom line: lousy workmanship, no accountability, zero ethics. Avoid Roofing For Less if you care about your house.

As one roofer mentioned “the name says it all”.

BTW the check is still “in the mail”. Not that I would ever expect it to arrive.

I paid Roofing For Less to install soffit, fascia and eves troughs on our home 2 years ago. The work was sloppy, they had to be told to fix several things right away. They even blocked the hydro meter with a downspout, and when I asked them to move it, they didn't put up a new gutter, they just patched it.
A month ago, one of our gutters came off the side of the house and landed on our gas meter - the lumber that they installed was only held on with 2 inch screws! Some of the gutter screws were never even done up!
I contacted Kim, she said she'd call the owner and get back to me. I've called 10 times, they won't even pick up the phone or call me back. These people will take your money and disappear at the first sign of trouble. Do not use this service. They are an embarrassment to their industry.

UPDATE: Rotted wood replacement was part of the scope of work provided by Roofing For Less, rotted fascia board was replaced in several areas around the house to accomodate the new fascia. Using 2 inch brass screws does not constitute rotted wood, it's shotty workmanship by a hack who doesn't know what he's doing. To wait for a negative review and then respond with bullcrap is exactly this company's way of handling public relations, rather than calling back. No explanation of the damage was done, no site visit of any kind was communicated to me (so if they came here, they trespassed while I wasn't home). Not sure why they think I'd allow them to put up a downspout in front of the hydro meter, that's pretty ridiculous that they'd agree to that even if I asked. It sounds like the people in charge of refuting these negative reviews doesn't do much else with their time, servicing the needs of the customer might be a good start. I never asked for the repair to be done for free, I never spoke with anyone but Kim in reception, who never got back to me since I spoke to her on January 29th (today is February 25th). If Roofing For Less had done the right thing and simply called me back, we could have worked something out where I paid for the materials, but seeing their shotty business practices extend to their online reviews, I'd rather kiss a toilet seat than let these people on my property.
