Let me tell you about Rachel Roy and the disservice she offers. My former partner and I were going through a rough time. Both of us suffer from mental health challenges. My employer's member assistance service referred us to Rachel at Optimum health counselling.
She would not recall things discussed from previous sessions, she was entirely one sided and when the topic of other mental health services came up she was rather unprofessional by not acknowledging that other methods aside from her own were even an option.
As far as her methods go, she dismissed the fact we were there to learn to understand each other's needs, and instead drove a larger wedge between us. Half the time she could not remember our names and almost seemed to relish in the pain she caused.
Zero compassion. Nil understanding, and unprofessional mannerisms coupled with an uncaring dismissive attitude make her in my eyes the worst option. She ruined my life. I mean it when I say that. After three sessions with this woman I went from Anxious, and Depressed, to being in the throws of a panic attack, Suicidal, and I felt like not existing was my only option.
Stay away from this fraud and try to find someone with a soul.
