They sold me an extended warranty on my used vehicle that turned out to be useless. The finance manager told me that it would cover everything except "normal wear and tear", and after 3 months I could cancel the warranty if anything else went wrong. The vehicle overheated after two and a half months and It had to be towed to the dealer. Two days later I went to pick it up and was told the bill was for $1100.00. They said they replaced the radiator. I said what about the extended warranty. Radiators are not covered they said. I asked how can a radiator be considered normal wear and tear? Still not covered. Why didn't you repair the radiator (fix the leak) "we didn't know if it could be repaired (welded or soldered) in that way". I was treated very unfairly, this should have been covered by the three month warranty that was supposed to be a certified vehicle in the first place. I have repetitively called and called the local dealer and the corporate office and neither case do they call me back.
