I had an amazing experience here. Cameron was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and she never made me feel pressured. She ACTUALLY listened to my concerns and needs. I felt like a person not a paycheck. When I'm ready to purchase, definitely working with her

Avoid the service department at Young Chevrolet in Layton. I brought my 2021 Suburban (purchased new and exclusively serviced here) for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The service department handed me an invoice claiming a rear lug nut/stud was cross-threaded and seized "prior to service," demanding $500 to fix it.
Knowing no one else has ever touched the wheels, I refused and drove the next morning to an independent auto repair shop for a second opinion. The independent mechanic removed all lug nuts smoothly with zero issues, found absolutely zero marring or damage, and completed the tire rotation perfectly. Young Chevrolet fabricated a critical safety hazard to try and scam me out of $500.
To make matters worse, watch your receipts closely. My printed invoice total was $135.66, but they secretly swiped my card for $138.37. They slipped a 2% credit card surcharge onto the final machine receipt without any verbal disclosure or signage that I noticed at the counter beforehand. Utterly dishonest business practices. Go to John Watson or Murdock instead.

I had an enjoyable buying experience with my new 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country. McCormick, my sales professional, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Jake and Eric were extremely helpful and gave me the best deal possible.

Was asked to come down to make an “aggressive” offer on my vehicle as a potential trade in because I was looking at multiple Tundra’s and they had one that I was looking into. I let them know if they plan on offering me $5k I’m not coming down because it’s a waste of time, and I’m assured “it’ll be aggressive”. I get there, and the person I was in contact with was “unavailable” so I’m handed off to a floor sales person. He lets me know the Tundra I was looking at isn’t available anymore, that it was sold to auction… but there’s another in Morgan he can bring down. I tell him I’m not looking to buy that one cause I haven’t researched it, so we go to my car. He starts off by asking if I always park the car with the e-brake on (which I do btw, but he is trying to devalue it because it ruins the transmission over time if I don’t park using it), to which I respond I always park with it. He then proceeds to pull the KBB trade in value and offers whaddya know… $5k! After I made it clear (and I gave them the year, make, model, recent maintenance history beforehand when I told them I’m not wasting my time coming down if the offer is $5k). He tries telling me that if I sell it privately, that banks will only approve buyers for $5k because that’s what KBB has it at for trade in. I tell him that’s completely not true, and he laughs and says no it definitely is. I call America First right after to prove him wrong and they said my car would be approved for $13.5k. Shady sales tactics giving me false information, wasting my time not letting me know the truck was sold to auction. That leaves a foul taste that prevents me from ever considering a Young dealership

McCormick was such a fun and personable guy! We had such a great experience buying our new car! He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
The car is exactly what I wanted, and he made sure I knew how all the bells and whistles worked.
We had THE easiest car buying experience ever! Everyone we talked to that day was great, and we left extremely happy!
Thank you!
