ERS was great. The owner was the one who dealt with me on most of my questions and he gave me some good tips - don't plug in your stuff after it was in a fire because it can ruin it. Apparently the soot is conductive to electricity and shorts things out or overheats items. Explains why my DVD player didn't make it - we ran it twice while it was still in the house and it stopped working. The other stuff they cleaned first and it is working fine, including my all in on touchscreen computer which has all my pictures music documents on it from ever. My daughter's older laptop was melted in one corner and they couldn't save it but they got the data off and put it on a new one for us.

I never thought they would get all of the soot and smoke off of my computer and other things but they did. It didn't even smell when I got it all back. Very happy to have my stuff back!
